Weekly weigh in

So, i weighed myself yesterday (Sunday) and it turns out I've lost one pound! I know it may not seem like a lot but that still shows progress.
My face also lost a little weight. Ask me how I know? No more dimples, usually when my face is full I have these cute little chubby cheeks dimples.

Anywho I'm getting there! ^^ 5 pounds gone since i've started!

Starting weight: 164 lb

Current weight: 159lb

Goal weight 1: 145 lb (by June 2013)

Ultimate goal weight: 130 lb

T's Meal plan for this month




Guilt free chocolate?

I found this awesome chocolate bar at Trader Joe's a couple month's back. It claims to have 
no sugar and little calories. I usually get the milk chocolate one. Even though it seems "guilt free" I don't abuse it too much either, I'll have a square or two whenever and urge for chocolate arises. Also they claim that if you eat the whole bar at once you'll get loose bowels... O.o




Remember: When "dieting" or "eating light" make sure you have at least one cheat day or hour, don't deprive yourself entirely, because (and take this from experience) you'll get tired of it QUICK and just drop the whole thing and binge on bad bad un healthy food. So if you got a craving for wings, go ahead have some (not too much), but make sure you continue with your clean eating for the remainder of the week. 

Also if you must must must have that cheese burger (or anything else that's un healthy or fattening) always cut the proportions in half, and complete your meal with your usual healthy accompanying foods. For instance yesterday I had this incredible craving for wings. Instead of having all of it, I split half with a friend, so I had 5 wings, and to complete my meal, I ate the celery sticks and carrots, and went easy on the blue cheese.

The buddy workout!

Want to work out with a buddy? Try some of these exercises:
  1. Handclap plank - both starting off on the ground, raise yourselves up with one arm and slap hands, alternating each time.
  2. V-sit side touch & pass - never declining and holding the v sit, twist and touch both sides and then pass the mediball off to your partner. Both must always twist and touch.
  3. Mediball crunch - get your partner to stand over you and lock your feet into their legs. Crunch up, pass the mediball to them and come back down, then crunch up and grab the mediball again, repeat. 
  4. Crunch & stand - Crunch and using your core stand up, throw two punches when you reach the top, then lower yourself back down. Make sure your partner gives you a slight pull on your legs when you’re coming up!
 Sanny! Maybe one day you and I can get to doing these!
